i'm really bad at poetry
im not good at it at all
i guess poetry's not the thing for me
it's quite possibly my greatest downfall

it takes me too long to think of something
something i want to write about
by the end of the poem it ends up being
something people don't wanna read, without a doubt!

i'm not that great at rhyming
especially with complicated words
i cant find anything that rhymes with "rhyming"
or anything that makes sense, and rhymes with "words"

this poem i'm writing now, is the worst one ever!
there's no point, no purpose at all
that's why i promised myself i will never
write a poem about a guy named paul

wow, that was really corny
this whole poem is, it's blah
something something.. horny
blah blah blah blah blah

i'd write a random stanza
randomness into my poem
about stuff like tony danza
or how matt looks like a gnome

but im to lazy for that stuff
it requires too much thinking
cause i'm as talented as hilary duff
so that means my ship is sinking

i hate writing poetry
i hate it with a passion
cause poetry's not the thing for me
and this poem deserves a bashing
